Workshops and vodcasts are different in that workshops are with more than one or two people and learning is like building a house with a foundation. Vodcasts are accessed based on whether you are interested or not and it’s often just you watching a talk being given.

A workshop provides you with the foundation to build knowledge, like a house. It will help you see the world with different eyes.
Empowering others
You can pass on your knowledge and skills to others, either during the workshop when you work in groups or afterwards, telling your friends what you learnt. It may tempt them to become involved too!
Share Common Goals
A workshop always has a common goal in mind; the aim to achieve knowledge to implement something new or develop new skills to use in future.
